Print Maker Katy Sloan - January NAG Meeting 2020

At the Art Guild's first meeting of 2020, we were treated to a unique art demo and discussion by Katy Sloan. Sloan studied at SUNY New Paltz and currently teaches art in Western New York, at the Book Arts Center, as well as Starpoint Intermediate School.

It was fascinating to see what kind of materials and work went into each type of printing process. - Thank you for the wonderful presentation Katy!

The guild also received a Thank You note this month. It's from Lockport Cares. (The guild collected donations for "Lockport Cares" at our last meeting/Christmas party)

Glad to hear they could use all the items we sent over. - If you are a guild member that missed our last meeting, or you are in the Lockport area and would like to make a donation of your own, Lockport Cares accepts a wide variety of items year-round; https://www.lockportcares.org/

The Niagara Arts Guild meets every third Friday of the month, at the Dale Center in Lockport NY, with presentations and Art demos at every meeting - New members welcome!
